So, hier meine doofe Hausaufgabe zur Analysis...das Bild dazu kennt ja jeder: Der Kerl mit dem Kopfhörer auf dem Mund!
Lest euch das halt durch, wenn Fragen sind, fragt. Wenn allgemein Fragen zum Thema sind, fragt auch und...fragt vor allem hier und sachbezogen bitte! Die Analyse ist jetzt mal eben runtergerattert, kann aber vielleicht schonmal etwas helfen. Für Vokabelfragen hilft mein guter alter Freund http://www.leo.org, der in keiner Favoritenliste fehlen sollte :P Was hier jetzt konkret FEHLT, sind die Ad techniques...hatte keine Lust mehr, aber die sind nicht sonderlich schwer, steht ja alles auf dem Blatt!
EDIT: Gut, mir ist aufgefallen, das auch mein persönliches Fazit fehlt...aber auch das ist für euch relativ unwichtig, da sowas frei geschrieben wird und subjektiv ist - also keine Hilfestellung! Nur für die Struktur ist es wichtig!

ENGLISCH – AD ANALYSIS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The ad is a portrait format of unknown size, most likely a poster or big-sized flyer that shows a man or male teenager lying on a concrete sidewalk, his eyes closed, the picture shot in close-up-style. He appears to be dead or unconscious, while an arm coming from the left places headphones on the man's mouth to kind of reanimate him with music. The scenery is placed in the mid portion of the ad. The man is cropped on the left mid side, only displaying his torso and head while he lies on the sidewalk.. The hand, holding the headphones, are cropped as well, coming in from the left upper corner. In the lower portion of the ad there is a slogan placed in the center, a date above and the logo right of it. The slogan says „For those that can't live without it“, the logo is „Festa della Musica“. Below that, a small additional element is placed, probably being further information on the event. It has a small internet-link below, probably directing people to the host of the event. The eyecatcher is the man showed in the center, second is the slogan in the lower portion.
What kind of product is being advertised? Less a product, but a music event instead. It might be a smaller festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Due to its logo being written in the Italian language, this might be a hint of a music festival that has Italian music or, thought farther, ethnic or world music that is supposed to appeal to a broad audience.
What brand image is the product given? This image might rather be macabre or funny, if humour allows you to consider this funny, as the creator took someone who acted being dead or unconscious, only reanimatable by music, whatever kind of music this might be. It basically says that music is a must-have and that life is nothing without it – people need it.
Who is the target audience? The target audience might most likely be teenagers and younger adults, musicians and, to a certain extent, maybe tourists. Depending on the festival's lineup, there is a chance that the target audience might be mixed from young to old.
AIDA – The AIDA-formula does not really apply to the advert when it comes to physical products people use to buy and keep: cars, cameras or computers. The advertised product is music, which is slightly hard to describe by use of the AIDA-formula, yet it works!
Attention The element that arouses attention is the man, the hand and the headphone working as one, all placed in the middle portion of the ad. Further, it creates a contrast to the monochrome concrete. First the eye might move to the man's head and the headphones on his mouth, making one wonder why this is so.
Interest The element being responsible for interest might be the headphone on the man's mouth that make people comprehend that the ad is about music, although there is someone lying on the sidewalk. Second, the slogan is an important element that arouses interest in the advertised event/festival. Desire The ad is not really about physical desire, say, it does not sell a car or food, but something, as some would say, for the soul: music. Thus the desire might be, after one has shown interest, to spend a great evening on a festival while listening to great music, therefore following the slogan, as soon as one has grasped its message and interconnected slogan and eyecatcher!
Action Viewers are supposed to take action by coming to the festival and listen to the music at it, spend money on everything around and have a great day/night.
